Haven House Geraldton offers short-term supported accommodation for women and children experiencing homelessness.

 

Short-term accommodation, when combined with support services, is an effective and essential part of the solution to homelessness.

 

Haven House is a stepping stone, a pathway to permanent housing. We have witnessed successful outcomes, with our guests housed at the end of their stay.

 

Haven House provides safety and stability for guests escaping domestic violence and women whom are experiencing crisis and are in need of a safe Haven. Many have been referred to Haven House. Guests express deep gratitude for their support and have been empowered to rebuild their physical and emotional wellbeing.

 

Many Guests have noticed an improvement in their health and wellbeing whilst staying. 

 

Guests are encouraged to develop their life skills and are empowered to make decisions that affect their lives and build a sense of belonging, confidence, and control.

 

Guests feel confident in seeking employment and enrolling in education and training programs.

 

Feedback from guests includes improved mental health and overall wellbeing since entering Haven House.

 

Mums of children being supported with short-term accommodation have said that their children feel safe, well cared for, and supported, with their confidence and self-esteem growing in leaps and bounds.
